Woodcreek High's varsity boys' and girls' teams had an incredible showing at the Capital Valley Conference league championships last Friday at Bella Vista High, dominating their competition and taking home the championship title! The boys' team won by just one point over Bella Vista, and the girls' team crushed it with 129.5 points. The performances by both teams were nothing short of amazing, with standout performances from so many athletes. From David Winston's unstoppable wins to Liberty Zamudio's new personal record in the triple jump, the athletes absolutely crushed it. Congratulations to Woodcreek High's boys' and girls' teams on their championship wins!

Whitney Wildcats varsity boys and girls teams win Sierra Foothill League finals
Whitney Wildcats’ varsity boys’ and girls’ teams both won league titles at the Sierra Foothill League finals last Friday, with the boys totaling 159 points and the girls finishing at 174 points. Senior Xavier Bruce II won both the 100- and 200-meter races on the boys' side, while on the girls' side, Ashanti Elie won the 100 meter race, high jump and was part of the 4x100-meter team that won with a time of 49.13 seconds. The Wildcats also had individual champions in several other events.
